A responsible person from the MIIT stated at the meeting that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, positive achievements have been made in the development of China’s low-altitude industry, with accelerated breakthroughs in technological equipment and diversified expansion of scenario applications. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, it is necessary to fully understand the new situation facing the development of China’s low-altitude industry and steadily promote the safe, orderly and healthy development of the low-altitude industry.
The responsible person said that efforts should be made to lay a solid safety foundation, strengthen the management of the manufacturing industry, attach great importance to low-altitude radio security, network security and data security, and build a test and verification system for low-altitude equipment. It is necessary to strengthen the research on basic and common technologies in the industry and accelerate the empowerment of artificial intelligence. It is necessary to expand scenario applications in an orderly manner, strengthen scenario traction to drive equipment upgrading, deepen high-level international cooperation, consolidate the industrial talent foundation, and provide strong guarantee for the development of the low-altitude economy as a strategic emerging industry.
